I admire the brilliance, but let’s all remember that Don Brash’s revolting politics were ALL ABOUT “mainstream” New Zealanders, by which (a little like Johnny’s “Kiwi mum and dad investors”) he pretty clearly meant “straight white wealthy people, mostly men, and also my wife, she’s from Singapore you know”.
